Well the turntable showed up - 5 days from England over a weekend - not too shabby, but geez you pay for it. Cleared customs without further payment or GST so pretty happy about that. 👍
The unit looks great and works flawlessly. Alister from ADM Turntables has truly excelled here and bought an item to market that is unmatched. The sound from the locos doesn’t even cut out when the turntable does a 180 which is quite impressive as the polarity of the track is switched during the turn. This is the only one I’ve ever seen that can do this. To say I’m happy is an understatement and the eye watering cost is quickly being forgotten.
This is what I got -
What I ordered - a weathered and brick lined turntable, with the mounting kit - which makes mounting it dead flat and leveling it so all tracks meet perfectly a snap - that’s also very well thought out.

A shot or two of the inner workings - stepper motor and drive gears, control board and encoder.

Controller is also of very high quality

Just have to mount it all on the baseboard now and I’ll shoot a video of it in use. 👍
