EV are anything linear, you are more directly connected with EV than any ICE machine. The experience is what you make of it especially since you still control the throttle. Even that troglodyte Jeremy Clarkson said he hates EV because they are "NON Linear."

Electric vehicles will be more waterproof than current ICE versions.

Low voltage electrics are relatively easy to seal.
Electric motors don't need oxygen to run and there is no intake.
Even if things get wet, copper is a much better conductor than water.

No need to worry about wet electrics in EV's

Think of washing machines, dishwashers, submersible water pumps , have not heard of too many electrocutions with these household items, Even dropping a toaster in a bath wont kill you nowadays thanks to your ELCB / RCD safety switch, EV's have the same level of protection .

Australian standards allow for 20mA , (leakage between HazV and Chassis) I can programme my Isolation level. Most of the time I'm sitting at 100% ( no leakage) Worst Ive had is 92% driving through torrential rain , when / if it gets to 80% my BMS trips the HazV circuit . (its monitored on my TFT display) . Maybe if I get stuck in a river crossing ??
