    Aussie Toby Price wins DAKAR

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I'm glad to hear Toby won, he was only a few minutes ahead yesterday and I thought it was going to be really difficult for him to stay in front with an injury. I think he is/was on this forum, (pro'ly can't admit it now that he has been in ads for Mitsubishi).

I do recall a member a few years ago asking for support to do the Dakar, and he had to postpone his first race because he was injured.

Pretty sure he was wanting a Land Rover supply vehicle.

He’s a ‘real’ Aussie champ and deserves a lot more media attention than those flog tennis players.

He broke his wrist a few weeks before Dakar.
Riding consistently paid off - with 3 stages to go he was more than 40minutes behind the leader. When the leaders bike had engine failure it put him back into the game. Coming into the last special stage he only had a 1minute lead - until the 2nd placer crashed out.
