Viņales junps off his bike at >200kph

I can't quite imagine deliberately stepping of the machine at those speeds, but watching it hit the fence at 200+ I can see that's the lesser of all evils.

Poor bugger has now had a "fail to go" when it did a donk, and a "fail to stop" when it did its brakes. Yamaha not looking particularly special right now!

Yep, it was amazing to watch him step off at that speed.

Yamaha are in big trouble on the engine front now, I'm pretty sure he was on his fifth engine and that's now been on fire and covered in foam.
Who knows whether he had time to kill it before bailing, if not it wont be in too flash a condition.

I really thought Jack was going to win a few laps out, I reckoned he had Pol's measure, so close, I just didn't bank on Franki coming through them like that at the end.
Great for Herve and the Tech 3 team.

I missed the race but saw the highlights.

Read an article about the brakes. That track is one of the hardest on brakes according to Brembo. Because Yamaha is lacking in top end speed the Yamaha riders are braking later and harder than the other teams which was one of the factors for the brake failure.

Surely 'The Doctor' will hang up his helmet now, after last night's effort. I know Miller had a mechanical issue but, I still don't think he is a 'Podium Contender' if all the top riders are upright.
Good to see Petrucci have a win. (I used to fang around on a Duke in another life, in the 70's)

People have been predicting Rossi's retirement for a long time, he is still finishing mid field.
