The big twin twins. The Ducati Sport Classic and 127ci KTech framed rigid bobber.
Seems this signed me in on my FB profile rather than my AULRO one...
This time under the right one...
Pardon the thumbnail but here is a pic of a BMW K1200S Power Cup bike, there were only ever two of them imported by BMW in 2005 specially for racing in the Nakedbike class here in Australia. These specially built by BMW Power Cup bikes were raced as a support class at MotoGp in Europe for a year, so there were only about 40 in total of them made just for racing, most were written off.
I owned one of them for two years back in 96/97 and had it raced, then sold it after BMW lost interest in racing them, again like the 1100 slab Gixxer that I owned earlier I always regretted selling the BMW so when it came up again for sale earlier this year I bought it back.
As far as I know it is the only one left intact here in Australia now, the other one was written off at a ride day at PI. Anyway to me its unique and very fast (175hp) collector item and I'm rapt to have it back.
Very nice bike. I saw some footage of them racing in Europe in a torrential downpour with an inch and more water on the track. Wearing full wets the racing was frenetic, among the best I have seen. Dragging the covers most corners too.
A real art piece worthy of being centre of the living room.
Who'd want a Picasso?
The latest addition to my stable.
