Actually, it does look a bit like a SpeedMaster, but it is really a Thruxton 900.

It is pretty much based on the old Bonneville but with lower clip on handlebars, and a few engine tweaks. It still only puts out 50Kw so not exactly a monster in modern terms.

yes i am ...haven't logged on for a while though.

I'm with a group - Girl Torque. We're basically a group of ladies on the Sunshine Coast who go for rides - sometimes with the boys.... Basically a social get together and a good excuse to get out on the bike. We're finding the some ladies grow in confidence riding with us as we're such a diverse range of skills and ages. Once the confidence is up the ride is so much more enjoyable.

I remember my first time out on the bike ...in 2001....I thought holy dooly this is fast....looked down and i was doing 50...

Well as I am still a Land Rover wanna be, at least I can post about bikes...

This is what I have at the moment:

BMW R1200 GS with Adventure suspension and wheels (mainly cause they are black). It's my touring and commuting bike.

Like to get a real dirt bike sometime in the future... Something like a ktm 400 exc or a 690 enduro. As long as it is light weight, 4-stroke and not annoyingly noisy...

    Prev Bikes:
    FZR-250
    Kawasaki ZX9R
    Yamaha XT600

My last, now sold. It just got up and ****ed off, any gear, any speed.
There is just nothing in this world that sounds like a big 4 on tap.
A Hayabusa or ZX12 would certainly put a smile on my dial.

No the windscreen's too low, I see no ariels for radio or uhf, lacks highway pegs, top box & panniers and I'll bet it doesn't have cruise control
