Damn, and no chat about me ZX6R previously posted.
Oh well here is our new Zuma I just bought for the wife.
It is very fast down hill.
Going up hill it has some issues with gravitational forces that require fixing.

It also came with the original sale papers and owners manual.

    It is a 1954 RT175
Very nice find, and with the paperwork too. It looks great. Just needs a good polish does it? Doesn't look like there's much missing or wrong with it if it runs.
My Dad had a DKW in his younger years in Holland. He has talked about it several times through his life. It looks like the owner of the one you found liked it as much as my Dad seemed to like his.

Not what I have at the moment - but what I started with....

    Congratulations !!!!

My first ever bike (and the only vehicle I have ever purchased new) was a Honda CD250U - and that was when they WERE new !

Nice little things, just not very quick !

I stacked mine twice (to be more precise I got hit twice by cars), fixed it, sold it to my sister, she sold it to her boyfriend, he stacked it, fixed it... stacked it again and I gather its now been "cafe'd"

More than 20 years on it's still going strong !

(Culled from the web but same same)
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Well I am having withdrawal sysmptoms.

More than 3 weeks ago the bike went in for a service. Among other things it turns out the sprocket carrier was near shot - lucky they found it - I'd hate to have that fail whilst underway !

Naturally as the GSX1400 was discontinued in 2007 (euro emissions laws to blame) the parts aren't generally in stock. And not only that Suzuki have none in-country ! So a part was ordered from Suzuki Japan and they've now advised they won;t ship until 15 September !!!

By the time I get it back it will have been off the road for 5-6 weeks !!! Aaaarrrggghhhh

My luck, when I get it back it'll start raining in biblical fashion

Nice bike Vlad, my old man has the same one but with the blue and white paint scheme.
Our old driveway was a steep, slippery, winding affair, and dad dropped it a few times when he first got it.
    You're right, they're bloody heavy
They're also super quick and a lot of fun
Hope you get back on yours soon.
    Cheers
