    Same bike, different look

My KTM 450 RFR before the start of 2013 Australasian Safari:

The bike still looks pretty much the same now, a few days later, but you have to imagine my right leg and right hand in plaster.

Friend here has one - and no car so it's his only mode of transport...

He loves it, been reliable and more than enough power to get moving.

I must say I don't mind it either...

have only owned two, and have pretty limited riding experience.
but they have both been DRZ400SM's.
Chosen, as they are cheap to maintain (good while at uni), pretty bulletproof, still quick enough in the twisties to be fun.

    This is my current bike.
Have just ordered tail tidy, LED indicators, MRD SSW exhaust. Will need to sort out the jetting for carby (thinking JD kit), open up the airbox and put a road filter on it. Hoping for a 3-4hp increase.
Keening up to get it out to the track!

This was the previous one. Did tailtidy, came with staintune slip on (no baffles, ears bled!) and custom header.

    Hi all,
I thought this section was deleted but found it again
After having a couple bikes..Kawasaki KLR250, Suzuki DR250, Honda 500, Suzuki Bandit 600 I had a bit of a rest from bikes & let my young girls grow a little so they wouldn't burns their hands on the hot exhaust when in the garage.

SO after going to look at buying a BMW, as i always wanted one, especially working with the Police Force & building their Cars & Bikes & SOG gear. Great rides & BMW spend countless dollars on getting the ergonomics right for their bikes.
I ended up on a Harley & haven't looked back. Damn comfortable & sounds brilliant.

So what i have now (Iron 883)....& what i want in the next few years or so (Road King).

    Cheers
