    diesel motorcycles

These are a great idea, wonder if some of these Vtwins would trash the bike transmissions like a 4BD1 does to some of our landy transmissions???

Not too sure about kick starting one of them on a cold morning, even though the guy at 5:22 does seem to have decompression on at least one of the cylinders.

Air cooled diesels, oh so quiet

There's a few webpages for Royal Enfield diesel engine swaps. It'd be enough excuse for me to get my license

There is a mob in the US that made a Kawa KLR650 diesel version for the US Army. I remember looking at this a few years ago and they were talking about a commercial model. 100MPG would be nice as I have to fill my Suzi DR650 every 160km

The Indians (as in call-centre Indians) used to make a diesel bike. Very popular over there. You'd never be done for hooning on it !

Recall a brochure describing it in part as "...mass of thundering metal.." - add the appropriate accent and a head-waggle to set the mood.
