    I bought a dak dak, yes i bought a dak dak.

    A 74 kombi to be exact, nice fairly straight and 99% rust free.
    Good running 1800 and 4 spd, plans are for a minimal camper fit out with poptop and a respray with white from waistline up.

    Should've taken some pics over the last month, had 2 '66 splitties in for work, engine into 1 and sway bar etc to other. Both were worth more than the RRS and the D3 HSE I had in here at the same time

    Should've seen the look on the rangie and D3 owners faces when I pointed to the most expensive vehicle in the workshop...

    Yes the splitties are worth a few bob, even a wreck is worth 15k.

    I was hoping you might be fluent in kombi, hoping to bring it over to Tassie around Easter time once i have kitted it out

    Don't I know it. I know people with splitties. I found one in a paddock that was very rusty and had no motor. The owner wanted $6k for it I think. It took a few months but it sold.
