MicroWave sensor sensitivity
I have a solar powered sensor light that uses a microwave sensor. Solar Rechargeable Motion Sensing Security 7W COB LED Light | Jaycar Electronics
The light is great but the sensor is just too sensitive and is constantly switching itself on and off - very annoying. Unfortunately changing the direction the sensor points makes no difference and there is no adjustment for sensitivity on the unit.
I have tried covering the sensor with foil with no success.
So does anyone know how reduce the microwave sensor sensitivity with some sort of covering? What material works?
As the unit has a on/off/sensor switch, if the sensitivity cannot be sorted the unit will make a nice solar powered camp light.
Thanks
Garry
