Pics or it never happened! :P But seriously, it'd be good see what they look like in reality. Especially the logo size and positioning.

Website says: $699.00 for the standard range (which has some options from standard solid colors to patterns- Grey Camo, Alpine. Also an ANZAC option and a Swagman scene). Then up from there for custom stuff.

I can't even tolerate the "mandatory" dealer stickers & they come off at the earliest opportunity, so those would not get past 'er indoors eagle eyes. I simply hate paying for exhibiting manufacturer's free advertising.

But as I no longer have a Discovery it is academic really.

Me too with the stickers. Really gives me the brace and bits when someone puts one on, like the tyre shop when you get new tyres. It's like, you the fire truck are you to put something on my car.

Yes, a bit higher than I'd hoped. Probably good value though considering the convenience and the protection. And, whist they don't have a product for the Disco, the Rhino Hide stuff is apparently well north of that.

They were running a promo last month for $100 off. Might be worth asking if you could still access that for anyone that's keen.

The spray on stuff will work just as well and you can put it where you want it and it is a lot cheaper.

At over $600 I cant see them selling much to ordinary users - maybe business clients with their advertising on it.

Whilst I appreciate the enterprise of trying to make temporary paint protection easy, I am not sure if this is the right solution.

Firstly, it doesn’t protect all exposed areas and therefore you still need to apply Paint Shield (or similar) to the wheel arches, C & D pillars, bonnet, outer front bumpers, etc which by the time you do this, it won’t take that much longer to do the areas which are covered by these panels.

Secondly, it doesn’t take that long to remove Paint Shield if you know how to do it, and therefore the price for this product is too high for the marginal convenience offered.

Thirdly, buyers are probably those who bought new and would be most concerned of scratches and therefore, question whether they would use it enough to justify the cost. I am not sure a second-hand buyer would place much value on these.

But, happy to be proven wrong.

It may be more practical if LR used brushed finish Stainless Steel on their new recently announced range of EVs.

"Scratches, what scratches? Naah mate that is factory finish."
