    heavy alu bar material

hello, I'm a builder, or was, of high end alu yachts or was, until a stroke hindered
I had dyes made for heavy extrusions and, it occurred TO me, that one section would make a very good bar
the alloy, is the strongest of the marine grades, 6082 T6 and it will form, cut, weld well
I can form to say 5000mm R to curve around the front or rear of your L.R.
youd need 2000mm I have 7500 lengths, abt 4.5kg/m, it'd be best to tap the bar from behind and pick up the chassis with a fabricated bracket, you could use two spaced say 400mm apart
I can send them to you, formed, the lot has to go before I do, pm me if'n your are keen
the material takes a great polish

G'day Stuart, That's not a very sharp photo of your bar. Might I suggest you'd do better with a clearer one?
    Don.
