I've had their 7" ones for 3 or 4 years. The lenses have yellowed a bit, but the car is never garaged. The price was great at the time, and I haven't regretted the purchase. They are a bit hard on the eyes if you do a lot of night driving, but we try to avoid that if we can.
Only real issue I had was with the supplied inline fuse. The holder actually melted (the fuse was still fine!). I replaced it with a resettable circuit breaker, and no problems since.
1 lux at 1400m sounds a bit like "marketing-speak" to me. But then again, it's not like they're the only 4wd accessory company to, shall we say, embellish the truth a bit, are they?
All in all, I'd still buy their products, but not because of the performance claims. Simply because they are at least as good as, and better than some of' the other products out there, and they are very keenly priced, and as Darryn said, if they get broken, it's not the end of the world for your budget.
