Another 200 TDI Conversion

I got a rough idea from it. I'll have another look at the petrol and make a decision. I would like a diesel but I would like to be gaining torque and power over the original engine. I don't have the money at the moment and the money I have goes to the 100" Project. You can't do anhything without money. It's still on the cards but not now.

What about a Nissan TD? I've heard o a few over here, and it seems to be a fairly common conversion in the UK?

I was looking at the 200 TDI and the 2.25 Diesel because they're a straight swap for mounts and gearbox. What Nissan engine were you thinking of, the 4.2. As for the TDI I thought that stood for Turbo Diesel Intercooled but I'm not sure I was having a guess. Where I live it's not so flat, we live right next to a mountain range and it's quite steep in areas.

TDI = Turbo Direct Injection

2.25 and 2.5 are InDirect Injection
