If it's lighter on fuel than the d1 v8 auto it won't bother me hahaha
Was there much room at the front end for the fan?
Or did you push it back to fit the box in?
And did you engineer it or buy it built?
Cheers

The transfer case sat in the original position ,I cut a little bit out of the front cross member & filled it with a piece of angle iron .
Not sure if I moved the radiator support panel forward [ possibly ]
The cut out in the front cross member may have been to allow the radiator to move forward .
Like I said , it was a long time ago .
There is a wreck with a ford in it down the back here you can have for the conversion if you want it.
Phew, just walked down for a look.
First, its not a crossflow Ford as both manifolds are on the RHS.
Second, the gearbox is gone but it has a cast alloy adapter with Dellows cast on it. Still has the clutch and pressure plate. I assume it was a series box behind it.
Well, anything that handles a Slant should handle a 250. Mind you..... I'd be wary of any large capacity six in front of a Series driveline.
I imagine a Series vehicle with a Slant, carefully driven, would crawl silkily over just about anything. Oh what a lovely engine it was......
