My option would be to fit an extra petrol tank for range and run skinny road tyres when not off-roading! The option also exists to convert to part-time 4x4 as a fuel saver... Not a fan of LPG/petrol combos! I'm a 1 or the other kinda fella!

My tyres are skinny... 255/85R16 but my fuel economy still sucks

Dunno why, I just can't get excited about the prospect of fitting LPG to my Rangie and spending several grand for it when the payback period for me would probably be 2-3 years.

A supercharger or turbo is something I could get excited about... payback period? Who cares! I'm off to chase some X5's and Cayennes

    Cheers, Paul.
