About to do a major conversion

OK so its finally time do get rid of the old 4.0l and the zf auto, I'm sick of the 3 1/2hp it has and hate the auto programing.
So i'm putting an injected 304 and turbo 700 auto in it, it should hit the street with about 350hp. does anyone know if there is a turbo 700 to rr transfer case adapter kit available. the only ones i can find are for the turbo 400 which is a 3 spd and no lock up converter.
    cheers

yeh in my p38. more than likely going to piggy back the computers, but will see what happens when we get to that point.

This is an awesome post. I agree with you totally, I cant see why piggy-backing the ecus is not possible. The thing I fear is future troubleshooting, as it will get more complicated. But dropping in a more modern donk and box seems like an awesome project. Document and photo everything and the best of luck to you.

Wasn't there someone here attempting this a few years ago? AFAIK, it wasn't finished due to the ECU hurdles.
