Hi Ron,
I agree with both of your comments ;-)

Hi I suggest asking re the wind deflector as there's a fair amount of turbulence up there (just try having the SR open at 80ks) so I'm wondering if re wind deflector could wrap around the sides to help a bit also the mesh makes it noisier
Regards
Bruce
On my classic I had a wind deflector on a mesh basket - it made a slight difference to noise, but a big difference on drag.
This basket didn't drone at all from the wind though.

You wanna buy it back? It has mostly been hanging in the top of my garage for the past couple of years while the wife has been driving the black P38. As it is currently "her car", she prefers the look of the three factory cross-bars.
The half rack is a heavy beast to get on and off the P38, I imagine the full rack would be a 2-4 man job.
Yep, absolutely.
I would then be happy to lose the cross bars and the Tradesman half rack.
I have the Rola rack and bars. Not to noisy and not too heavy.
Got the rhino bars in mine which support the rooftop tent as seen in my profile picture.
Hey Everyone,
Being that the P38 is a little older that what's generally floating about, I'm having difficulty finding roof-racks for it.
Both eBay and the AULRO for sale forums aren't being real helpful, so I figured I'd ask where all the P38 fans hang out.
Ideally I'm just looking for three crossbars, to fit a roof top tent to. I don't need/want a basket, but I wouldn't mind a light-mount at the front.
--Striker.
This is my current rack - bought on clearance a couple of months back from Performance 4x4 (through a member here) and fitted to my Thule bars. Note, it's a different rack from my previous pic.
