Rotten egg smell and O2 sensor values
Twice now I have clearly smelled rotten eggs after climbing a range with a trailer. First time I thought it was the flora and fauna, now I suspect Ranger Stacey. Google tells me it happens when cat converter is overwhelmed with rich mixture; which in turn is usually cause by O2 sensors tricking the ECU.
I can tell what the voltages and values coming out the O2 sensors are with my crappy handheld ODBII diagnosticator, but can anyone tell me what the valid range of values are I should be seeing? I cant seem to find them in Rave or on the net so far.
Thanks!
