Are you serious? We do parts for a living...:D

Yes but given your location and hos and freight costs to Australia which are akin to being raped with your own head it's actually not unreasonable. Given size/weight/shape I'd safely estimate over $300- for freight.
As an example, a simple winch solenoid from the UK, 43pounds cost, 48 pounds freight.
I personally wouldn't feel comfortable using your cad with no recompense. I'm not sure how royalties or making things under license works though - probably messy.
Dad invented a marine hydraulic propulsion system that a large engine company 'used' - so I know where your coming from.

Flo you could always PM Martin with a "commission" price per unit you would be happy with and he can send you a cheque for each one produced.. I dare say a "batch"once in a blue moon is all that would happen down here anyway.
You can appreciate by lurking in our AUS forum that the P38 accessory market down under is pretty small... and if it was truly any better than that, then you and the rest of the world know that our great mates at HRA would still be running and supplying all this sort of stuff locally by now.
But then again, if you don't want to share, then just say so.:p
I'd say no guys. Already tried something like that with front hitch receiver. Never saw any commission....:o. Sorry, time for you to bend and cut the metal...
And there you have it... business before pleasure... even from the other side of the world. cest la vie mate. :D
Business is business guys! Doesn't matter where in the world you are! It doesn't matter how honest a person is, if the designs fall into the wrong hands then there goes someone else's design...
Fully understand flo.
Hi
I understand where these guys are coming from, so I think our only solution is to design the stuff ourselves (like the rear bar Sean designed) and then share the plans.
That way people can at least get access to designs and have them fabricated locally.
The freight costs and the small size of the market means we have to do a lot of this stuff ourselves, especially the heavier items.
Being Aussies and Land Rover owners, this should not present a huge problem for the simpler items such as tank and diff guards.
