ABS Modulator 12 pin vs 13 pin
Im in the process of changing my ABS Modulator on a 1996 HSE. I recently aquired a 1998 model in the belief that they are the same unit (ie GEMS prior to the Bosch 4 wheel traction control) but that appears to be not quite the case. My original 1996 unit has a 12 pin connector whereas the 1998 one has a 13 pin connector. (No pin number 3 on the 1996 unit) The plug on the wiring harness fits and even has a hole for the additional pin. I've had a look through the RAVE manual and do not see a change to the pin configuration on a 1998 ABS Modulator, only post 1999 do I see that the 12 wires go to different locations on the ABS ECU.
Before I reconnect the battery, has anyone else stuck this before? I have installed the unit and am ready to go through the brake bleeding process.

Did you have any luck getting it to work?
