Mine also does this occasionally, there doesn't seem to be any correlation with speed, road conditions or weather it just randomly opens and closes all door locks a few times and then stops again.

The driver's door lock mechanism is quite badly worn so I've ordered a new one from Island 4x4, I'm hoping that will fix it but I've also got some work to do with the driver's door window so while its in pieces I'll be cleaning every electrical contact I can see.

IT has a new battery and voltage is good so its a gremlin in the wiring somewhere.

    Thanks for your imput everyone.
The reason I thought the outstation might be suspect, when I unplugged it while replacing the drivers window regulator, all the locks jumped in exactly the same mannor as the problem I'm describing here.
The fact that it happens when the door is hot, may be an indication of a dry solder joint in the outstation, or other electrical connection.
It also seems to be a reasonably common P38 quirk.
I've also read something about the micro switches in the drivers door latch possibly causing this problem.
