I started a thread on rr.net and someone said that a D2 guard will fit with modified brackets.
Sadly I don't think there is anywhere I can go to test this theory :(

My brother has a d2 with a skid plate. I'll do some measuring next time I see him - could be a couple of months though. ..
I suppose as the mcc bars a few have got are d2 bars, the skid plate is going to be close enough to modify.
Even making new chassis brackets wouldn't be that hard.
