I've seen a link to a long range tank before. Here in Oz as well. But can't remember where. Think it was on this forum even. Replaced existing tank and about 150L off memory. Didn't hang much lower I believe
Sill fuel tanks to fit a P38 ?
Or even a long range original tank replacement ?
Ta.

I have a Brown Davis 155 litre long range tank in mine. I believe there are two versions to suit early, i.e., GEMS, and late, i.e., Thor cars.
There are pics on this forum and on RangeRovers.net
I doubt you could fit sill tanks owing to the air tank on one side and also the chassis shape.

Thanks, I shall look into the Brown Davis idea.
The reason that I asked is because our Bitch is fitted with gas crap that doesn't work and their is no one in Mackay with software to check it out.
My idea is to strip the gas crap of it and thro it in the skip. I didn't like it when it worked as I think performance on both fuels suffered and was faulse economy really.
The Bro liked it because it increased the range on long trips.
He would like to take it back down to Bruce Davis who installed it and have it serviced. This would cost maybe a couple of grand when you think about what is involved, fuel, accomodation and Davis charges etc..
I think it would be a better and much cheaper option to have a long range tank delivered to my door.
Then tune the engine to run on petrol only and not both.
Which system did Bruce fit? Injected i assume by the mention of software? Brand?
I have the KME Akme system http://oldwww.kme.eu/EN_archiwum.html
I have the software and programming cable for that.

They're not a cheap item, around the $1200 mark IIRC.
There was a guy on eBay selling them for around $1100 but he seems to have disappeared off there now.
