    Disabling ABS.

The last high country trip we did proved how useless and dangerous the abs system is offroad, and on bad gravel roads.
A while ago rangerovers.net come up with pulling fuse 27 which disables the abs power relay to turn the abs off. But it also turns off the speedo and traction control - which is like to keep.

I was thinking cutting into one of the brake switches might work.
So, had anyone had a faulty brake switch and what results did you get?

One of the switches also has a 680ohm resister on the abs ecu input.... Don't know what that is about.

Its the guy with the white 4.0SE. He was at winter wombat last year. Had quite a stable of cars. Used to relocate companies for a living. But yes, the username looks familiar. Ill ping him, see if there's a response.

This was his solution. Seem to remember it was more convoluted than that though:

Yep - Ron Hayden. I've sent him a PM. He was one of the original P38 stalwarts/inspirations. Don't hear from him much on here.
