HUD and OBD

The Torque App on an android phone or small tablet (with inbuilt GPS) and Bluetooth dongle in the OBDII socket does this :p...just set the torque App display to HUD...reverts to a laterally inverted image for reflection in the windscreen ... fairly useless on a sunny day, but so are most others. Works very well at night. ;)

This is what I did when I had cooling issues. But I placed the 7inch tab on the shelf behind the steering wheel, the HUD would then show the temp inbetween the rpm and kph dials. Worked well even in daylight.

:eek::D I must try again on a sunny day! Perhaps it was the polarised sunglasses?

It could also be the tablet, I've tried it with two different ones and one was much brighter than the other.
