Strange noises

At least it's now sorted! (peace of mind) recently done mine front & back took about 2-3hrs all up. funnily though it was front ones that were real bad even damaged yolk which meant replacing front shaft yet no noises were evident!! go figure.
However I was getting vibration which was reason for me checking it out.

Yeah it was my front one shagged recently too! It's on much more of an angle than the rear, hence why they flog out easier.

For this reason alone, I drive on road in "low" height now I've lifted my Rangie. Off road I still use "standard".

I guess the double cardon front shaft would be the answer to our woes.

Unfortunately just front prop shaft. I hate to moan about the cost. It is just one of those cost I could have avoided.

given it's just the front shaft, then the cost is surprisingly high. I'd have thought $200 max given that they have a hoist etc and proper tools. I sympathise... feeling you've "been had" is not pleasant.
