Jinxed again...the black P38 is tied up so can't get to town for me to view today. I offered $8k but he said $9k was offered as a trade-in... The 4.0 SE seems nice but I think it will not have electric seats and the steering wheel controls and I really want a 4.6.
Stick with the Vogue, 10K is a very good price, I recon 5 or 6k under trade forecourt offerings. If you dont at lest give it a look with a sensible offer you will never get another chance at a 2002 Vogue and will kick yourself daily.
Yep just had day from hell. I work in the Nth Is and home is the Sth Is. Just after my update the wife rang from the back of ambulance....seems our youngest booked himself a ride to A&E from school. Started me on a mad dash to the airport on the next 2 hour flight home.
During this the black P38 txt's back and says I have 1st option at $9k....great but can't think about it then. Get to hospital and the boy is conscious and talking sense. P38 purchase put into perspective....now laid up in bed with man flu waiting for the young fella.
Am a mess. What a day but looks like thru worst of it.

Sorry to hear of your woes, hope you both get well. Its a good job that car is not closer, I would snap it up with no hesitation whilst you lay on your sick bed, harsh I know but he who dares wins. Keep us informed.
Fellas I accepted offer subject to a tyre kick....asked about usual faults and aok but said this about EAS...is this a good thing? The EAS can still be adjusted, no???
Hi Bob. Good news re your son. Ok will see you next week. I think you will be happy with the vehicle. A good tip that I got was to set the self leveling suspension on permanent highway mode unless 4 wheel driving. This takes a huge amount of wear out . See you next week. Cheers.

The comments about keeping the car in highway height is somewhat correct. Its easier on the driveline - as the prop shafts are straighter. But harder on the suspension - as the spring rate is harsher (at least it is on the Arnott Gen III's). There may be others who dispute this. I've never had the car bottom out in highway height. Its a great ride for tarmac if the roads are fast and smooth. Personnally, I prefer the standard height ride when the roads are rougher and slower.
But is the suspension still adjustable??
(Hospital and constant observation should be mandatory for man flu)
