What other goodies did you manage to stuff into your case?
Gary
Just back from the UK with a case load of spares. 1st job replace the expansion tank cap with a genuine one after discovering the previous new after market cap and tank where not sealing and the system never pressurised.
It turns out the cap was faulty, a close look at both and the O rings on the new and old shows they dont line up exactly. New cap on, run the car for a few mins and at last the system pressurises.
Lesson here is only by a Genuine expansion tank cap or at least be alert to the possible implications.

My non-original replacement expansion cap is going the same way
After two non-genuine ones were not up to scratch I went genuine as well.
My expansion tank was also part of the problem
