    air box lid won't **** flush...what am I missing (photo)??

    Hi - you can see a black lip on thr bottom part and that is holding the lid at a curve which will mean not a good seal...filter can be seen... not sure what I am doing wrong?

    Yeah. What's the black lip? Not seen that before. I can see the filter on mine. But can't recall seeing the black lip.

    Its on top edge of bottom fitting for air intake box...going to push filter in more...tried with a light inside it and got a better seal with filter out....thinking sucking dust and stuff in and may affect MAF sensor with box not sealed well? Got new MAF to try.

    Yeah. That looks typical. I'll double check mine in the morning. Best way of checking would be to throttle the air intake whilst the engine is running and make sure the engine stalls.
