Some market settings for the BECM can be done with Testbook. Scouse and I recently changed an import so that it no longer displayed messages in German.

I doubt engine management ECU settings can be changed. The bloke who does the Tornado chip does an Oz version. A friend bought one and had to do some to-ing and fro-ing to get it sorted.

My P38A has both a Haltech Interceptor and a Bruce Davis chip. I think Bruce changed the whole ECU because I had to get new Faultmate codes for the unit from BBS. Also, Faultmate says the ECU is for a 4.0 not a 4.6.

I have seen some odd settings as well, the nano docs state that it can do more than testbook, about the same as faultmate i guess

I have a tornado chip on my shopping list as well

From what I can see in the parts listing, 4.0 & 4.6 ECUs have the same part number. The number varies for different markets so I think they might be 'told' which engine they're for when first fitted.

The nanocom docs seem to suggest that ity can change anything except the Market

The only thing I have written so far is the default throttle sensor voltage

Sorry, I don't have any experience with new ECUs.

I bought a RR 4.6 Thor MAF, and of course it doesnt fit the 4L tubing
so I am getting a P38a inlet tubing up overnight from TRS.
The gentleman at TRS was very concerned about leaness.
