Small update.
Well the BECM went to Rupert. Looks like he has sourced another late model BECM so will transfer my settings over to the replacement.
So if all goes well I will have the replacement BECM tomorrow for less money than I expected.
Happy days if nothing unexpected comes up in the reading of my settings.
If for some reason the other ECU's (Gearbox an transfer) are had it then they are cheap and easy to change. EAS computer worked with nanacom so pretty confident that is fine.

In future I am going to look for a wrecked late model P38 to cut it's becm looms off so I can make extender cables, using those plugs and my destroyed becm board mount sockets for the becm anyway. Thta a whole lot of cables though.
The other ecu's under the passenger seat look like I might be able to put them in sealed bags I hope.
And also look at ways to seal the door drain plugs up when off road as I suspect that is where it came in and then leaked inside the door skin/plastic sheet, or maybe where my aftermarket speakers sit.

A bit of tape over the drain holes works a treat. Just remember to take it off once you're home

Yeh I might carry tape thats adhesive works well under water. Got some aluminium tape that seems to stick well so might carry that from now on.

Well the becm is back in and all went well on first turn of the key.
So the Pete38 lives again and cost less than I thought, and cheaper than my excess.
Only error I have is low winds screen levels which I had before, airbag fault because the seats are out of it and disconnected, and sunroof fault but I don't have a sunroof (will disable with nanacom).
So hopefully all will be back together including the snorkel/airbox by next weekend.
