There was no mention of it ever having a RWC. Thought body lifts were a no no wrt RWC. Its nearly 20 yo. Everybody knows - you don't recoup your outlay. Not on a car like this.
Now my P38. That is worth $32K. Anybody want to buy it?

The same car was posted recently in another thread. From that thread, it's a Matar Motors car:

Hi
To quote a great Australian "Tell him he's dreaming" :p
It's a BOSCH motor with GEMS intake?
I don't like the headlights or the side vents and carrying the spare on the roof is a no no for me.
So maybe drop a decimal place off the price :wasntme:
Steve
Thanks for the answer Steve I was looking for the bananas ".....didn't know you could use the gems.
I guess you could use a THOR block and heads, but then it really becomes a GEMS anyway once you hook up the GEMS stuff
The other thing which I don't like is the amount of airflow those lights block out.
And given all the HID stuff on it I wonder what alternator it has and how long the BECM will last !
Steve
Yep....a p38 electronic nightmare.
I'd pay $12-14k max, with an engineers certificate.
As said, you never get close to what you put into cars in terms of resale.
I know a bloke who built up a D2 with a 5L V8, almost every other option, rims, tyres, etc. He took a $70k loss selling it.
Sent from my HTC One using AULRO mobile app
And the reason for selling without RWC?......
Agreed. Most people dont realise how much they spend on mods. Think how much you have spent over the years on the LRs and it adds up quickly. I think given the work its on the high side but still worth a decent price range. New 4wds are $80k stock, the add gear and its quickly $100k...
It could be Matars own vehicle, in which case all the gear has been snaffled from other vehicles being broken. A tidy profit, if he manages to find a buyer.
