I have been having problems with my FaultMate Extreme for a year. It would connect to the EAS system, but no others. Last night I spent 6 hours testing every wire from the ODBII diagnostic port to their endpoints on computers (BECM, ABS, CC, EAS, etc) looking for a wire that was broken. The wires from ODB port to the EAS go left under the front passenger door, and most of the rest go right, behind the centre console to the drivers footwell and then the BECM. So I assumed it was a wire behind the console. THIS post in BlackBox Solutions Support forum sent me heading there. When I ripped out wires s213 and s214 they looks perfect. (Rave is so good for this kind of thing!, even tho it takes a bit of time). I confirmed that the ODB port had connectivity to the BECM, so it wasnt in the car. Then I checked the BlackBox solutions supplied ODBII cable and here is what I found - see pic.

That's taken a while to track down although I noticed in BBS's first response that the OBD lead could be faulty but without any suggestions on how it might be tested.
