    ETM for 95 HSE

    Hi folks,
I am looking for the ETM for MY 1995 and only finding 97 onwards on the web. AULRO RAVE II CD states that it covers 1999 - 2002.
Specifically, I am working on the cruise control ECU and associated tests, but the 95 wiring is different to the 97 ETM I am using.
Thanks in advance for any hints.

I thought the wiring didn't change until the Thor.

I always used the '97 ETM on my '95.

Ron, I suspect very minor changes. When did the lamda sensors first get implemented? My 96 doesn't have any.

I believe Lambda sensors were fitted from day 1 but not on Oz models. The UK had 2, the US had 4, we had none. I'm not sure when they were introduced in Oz.

    OK,
The answer - for my purposes, the 97 is identical to 95 ETM.
The problem was a non-functioning CC ECU due to incorrect input from the brake switch vent valve (plunger sits in front of the brake arm). The wiring on my 95 MY to this switch was not per the ETM, hence my original query.
It turns out that the switch was connected to ANOTHER 2 PIN CONNECTOR WITH THE SAME INDEXING. Floating above the ducting was the correct connector with OR and ON coloured wires. I don't know what the feral 2 pin connector is for, but I'm sure someone here will identify it immediately.
The usual vacuum leaks (x3) were fixed, the inverter dry joint resoldered and CC now works - perhaps for the first time in this vehicle.
I have sketched out the inverter circuit for future reference, and will post up shortly.
Images below illustrate this trap for the unwary.
    Cheers,
    Steve

It's the clutch switch connector which is not used with an auto. C230, colours YG and B.

The brake is C228, colours ON and OR.

I often found that searching RAVE on wire colours to be quite useful for identifying stuff. In this case, I knew of the unused clutch switch connector and went to RAVE to check.
