    Diff breathers for p38

I am having trouble finding diff breathers. Are there any recommendations?

Both of mine already had diff breathers installed. The front one comes up near the radiator

So did mine - standard equipment on a P38A.

    Look at RAVE:

    V8 repair page 23
    Rear Axle repair page 2
    Front Axle repair page 3

The pic on Section 54, Front Axle, page 2 shows a breather coming up from the axle housing and up in front of the RH air spring (but there are also the fog light breathers. RAVE Section 12, Land Rover V8, Repair, top of page 9. )

Look behind the engine for some breathers, too.

Thankyou! I can't believe I have overlooked this. My love affair with the p38 is getting stronger.

I never really traced them though I know the ones behind the engine are the gearbox and transfer case ones

Just another thing the NissYota brigade have to add to their "superior" vehicles to get them up to scratch

Yes, I believe they are. Doesn't the gearbox breather have a funny looking cap on it?

I've never traced where the rear axle breather went. I seem to recall someone saying it went up inside the rear quarter.
