Overlooked Updating - Apologies
Ok, the problem was the Crank Angle Sensor and the Air Flow Meter.
Since repairing, engine running almost angelically.
Now as for upgrade, sigh, swaying more towards the 2010 plus sports models.
Tending to veer in the 276-291Kw engines, my thoughts are the 375Kw will be a tad thirsty.
And I did look at the D4, but excluding the smaller engine, the RR suspension comes across to me as still superior (from what I have witnessed in the field).
