That looks brilliant! I would almost consider taking my terrafirma of and putting one of those ARB units in it's place
Nice job sir, nice job.
OK, so it's taken a while to get around to finally biting the bullet and getting an ARB D2 bar. But it is now done
Modifications required on car 2 x 12mm holes on the end of the chassis + a slight trim of the corners of the grille
Modification of the Crash cans - crush section removed, reposition the height of the mount and shorten the overall length
I am really pleased with the outcome

Hi Mate
Looks great !
I thought that people said the Airbag version of the ARB bar didn't require and mods to the crush cans
Doesn't look like a tough job and gives a lot more protection for sure!

Steve. The crush cans need quite a bit of modification! The chassis width is correct as is the chassis rail distance apart. Other than that the crash cans need shortening, the chassis rail is larger in height than the D2 so the "hole needs enlarging on the can and the bar height is also out significantly. Modifying the crash cans to adapt can be relatively easily done. Then it's just a matter of drilling new holes in the chassis and crash can to suit. Other than that it bolts up easily

When I put the D1 bar on mine I modified the actual bullbar, including new holes, and left the crush cans alone, same mod, just at the other end of the line.
I didn't have a problem with the distance out front though, only needed to drop the bar, lines up a treat
