so do i just turn off eas in with the nanocom ?
The coil kits usually come with a link harness to fool the system. I don't think there's a way to actually 'turn off' the EAS.

As Scouse says, you'll need to do the wiring reconfigure. A search of the 'net or rangerovers.net might find it.

The WIA is a money grabber. I could/should have got recognition of prior learning as I was a qualified radio tech (trained by Dept of Civil Aviation) and I had a Broadcast Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (BOCP) but it was easier and cheaper to just do the exams than pay the WIA $100 to review my docs and then say no.
One of the Examiners knew me well - he and I did the BOCP together (and I taught some of the course).
