    Rear left height sensor

    Hi guys.
My rear lefted height sensor has been ripped off by a tree branch.Rear left height sensor
What's worst is not only the sensor damaged but the plastic connection point at the bottom had snapped in half.that seems to have maybe been stuck on to the steel.i can't get a real good look at it as yet but I won't be able to set a new sensor up without the bottom connection point.
Has anyone else had this sort of problem or any ideas how to overcome it

    Hi,

I am assuming you mean the rubber thingy that is stuck to the lower arm? I have never seen them ripped of or damaged apart from people cutting them of when salvaging sensors from scrappers. if it is ripped of then I think I'd look into a rubber bushing that would fir the sensor and fix it to the arm with a saddle bracket. You would need to drill two small holes into the arm but that should be ok.

a clip like this for example: https://s14-eu5.startpage.com/cgi-bi...a9acb124838389

    Cheers!

    That's for replying prelude.
Obviously this isn't the first time it's been snapped off.
I've bonded it again and placed a saddle over it then screwed it and hose clamped it .The swing arm is made of a plastic material filled with white powder fyi
