    custom fabrication

Hi can anyone recommend any 4wd fabricators who make custom stuff for the P38. APT only do a rear diff guard. I'm aware of the Terrafirma stuff but it becomes too expensive with postage. I'd love a custom made low profile roof rack (similar to a pioneer one) and a custom winch bumper, but don't know who could do this. Is anyone making stuff for the P38 in Australia? cheers.

Goodies? Not that I know of.

    Roof bars, yes. Racks, no.

However, Rhino don't make one for the L322 either but I fitted a Pioneer Platfrom to mine - see from L322 roof tray onward.

Though I do not live in australia, I too would be interested to know since the chances of finding someone over there are probably 99% higher...

I am currently in discussion with the frontrunner guys (in germany) to see if they can fit up a roofrack to my P38. It should be possible because I do believe they have the type of feet needed in their catalog, they may need to be adjusted though. Perhaps that would also work for you?

    Cheers,
    -P

Does anyone know if any of the 4wdsupacentre roof racks fit the P38? or are the legs in the wrong place?

I've seen Keith's P38 on YouTube where he's used the Rhino cross bars and then attached a custom sheet of alloy to the bars to use as a rack.

Also i know that the Xrox winch bars fit, but I'm undecided about if i like the look of them. I prefer a square design rather than the cut away design of the Xrox bars.

@P38Arover the pioneer platform looks great on the L322 - I've always liked their low profile. I wonder if one could be made to fit a P38...i wonder if the rack would then be worth more than my car then lol

@prelude cheers mate I'll check them out.

    cheers Steve,
do the ProRack trade bars mount directly to the gutter?

Also can you post a photo of your rig so i can see what the rack and bar looks like?

cheers mate that's a good looking P38. I'll have to compare prices of those bars vs the Rhino ones.

Where did you get your read bar from?

i think I'll prefer to put the the spare tyre and fuel on the roof though as i dont want to cover up the Rangw Rover badge haha.

Do you know if there's a company that still makes long range tanks for these?
