    Suspension height sensors

Hi Folks, I am thinking of replacing the height sensors in my 1995 P38. I see that the sensors for the later P38's [1997 to 2002 ] are more readily available than the early ones, and cheaper as well. Can the later type sensors be retro fitted to the early P38's?
    Thanks,
    Alan

    G'day mate,

I can't provide an answer to your question, but I can comment that the new and old sensors have different methods of plug-in to the wiring harness. I don't believe it would be an easy task given the later sensors have no cables coming from the sensor, whereas the earlier sensors have a cable and clip from the height sensor.

    Cheers

    Hi Keithy,
OK, lucky I did not order any sensors last night. The original ones are available buy more expensive but that will be the only way to go. Hopefully I will be able to catch up one day when I am up in Townsville one day compare notes.
    Thanks,
    Alan Temperley

Apologies for the late reply mate, I’m glad to hear you ended up with the right part.

If you’re ever up this way, definitely keen to catch up 😁

    Cheers
    Keithy
