EAS bag purchase - buy Dunlop, Britpart arrive

Hi guys, I recently purchased a pair of front bags for a P38, from a well known Aussie vendor. These were sold as Dunlop, made in the UK. Britpart boxes arrived, no real markings on bag except for a date stamp of 08. I peeled back the vendors sticker to reveal another sticker with mention of China.

While they’ve obviously been mis-sold, are the real Dunlop bags actually still available, or is it just Britpart and Arnott now?

    Dunlop Air Bags

February this year I purchased 4 air bags from AirBag Man in Brisbane ... Dunlop Made in UK AB0011 x 2 and AB0012 x 2 $1000 plus freight.

Replacing the harsh riding Arnott Gen 3. I know these have qualities that are sought for those doing "off roading" and towing caravans but I am doing neither.

I have found that, in my opinion, Britpart are supplying for all ranges of quality but it is difficult to find whats in the box before you buy.
I have purchased what I believed to be a quality OEM part and be pleased with its quality and County of Origin, but it has arrived in a Britpart box.

At the same time I renewed the desiccant in the air dryer from Range Rover P38 - Air Dryer Repair Kit - 4x4 Air Seals the correct quantity comes in a sealed bag. To make it a bit more economic I purchased 2 bags and filter pads for $70 and post was $36.

Probably the same stuff is available in Australia but I didn't find it.

Thanks for the replies. It’s a bit of an emergency so decided to press on. Can’t get the air lines in - the orings look too fat, and there is only one per connection rather than the original two. It felt rather silly removing bags marked 2003 to fit Chinese bags stamped 2008.

Re. the desiccant: spread it out on a flat tray and heat for an hour in the oven at 90 Deg C. It will regenerate very well. To get rid of the "fines" (particles) simply carefully sieve it through a large kitchen strainer.
