The alternator to battery lead is a Service Action so this should be done FOC by a dealer (unless the action has been closed by LR).

Ron bought the kit from Trivetts so if you don't have any luck sourcing one at your end Ray, let me know.

It's the actuator rod FSI100000 that one needs to copy.

    Thanks for your help Ron,
I removed and rebuilt my P38A fuse box following your instructions, Very Helpfull. I also Cleaned out my pollen filters and replace the problem connection on Both blower Motors to be sure !
P.S ... Thanks for your extra help on the phone late Sat night I ended up as well as cutting the board in half as you suggested and repairing all the Dry Joints (aprox 6 or 7 Found) I soldered a Heavy wire in between the relay pin and the Connecter pin and did away with the Circuit all togeather as it was buggered ! I also found another loose pin on that relay wiring connecting the plug on the other side of the board.

Question: Once fitted and all the above done.............. Does the Check symbol go off on the climate control ? or do I need to take it to a dealer for that ? The A/C Seems to be working beter ?? or is there still a fault in there ?!?!? maybe I need a NEW fuse box ??

The other thing is I have not replaced the Relay as its allready has been replaced with a bosch unit ?? It still seems to be clicking and it only has a small amount of heat damage ?? Your Thoughts ?

P.S ... Pic attached of the wire that was allready soldered onto my realy circuit as per phone discusion (sorry about the quality)

    Cheers and Thanks AGain !

Hi Jeremy. When you called last weekend it didn't click with me as to who Jeremy was. Now I know

Nothing wrong with me that a few too many red wines hasn't caused.

I think most chequebook symbols clear if the fault has been fixed but I can't be sure. The logged faults will still be there but whether they display the chequebook, I dunno. Scouse might know. I haven't had a fault for quite a long time so I can't be sure.

Certainly some faults don't, e.g., core temp sensor faults. They clear when the car is cold and come back when it warms up.

If you were here, I could hook up my diagnostic system to check and clear them for you.

Interesting that you found more problem joints in the fusebox.

That pic isn't clear enough to be certain but did that link short the two relay pins together? I'd better go and look at my old fuse box.......

    No, it shouldn't.

Ref the relay, try swapping to another position. I had one which still oprated but the relay had melted internally.

Ron, I just swaped the relays around and the Test book symbol went away and the A/C came back in full force !

So thumbs up for the repair, I'll grap another relay tomorow.
    Cheers

    Jeremy
