    Thumbs up New sound - new car!

    Just finished the upgrade to my RR P38 and pretty happy with it!

    When i bought it from Vic, it was like running while breathing through a straw. A quick stop at hi-tech exhaust Sydney showed the problem;

    2 x Chinese cats suited to a 1.4L Diahatsu
    1 x Commodore exhaust
    1 x no-name resonator
    15 x exhaust leaks

    Took me a while to get it all sorted as i really wanted to get it done right and in stainless for beach driving.

    New fit out includes;

    304 stainless throughout
    2 x extractors
    2 x American SS cats with 200 cells
    1 x custom ss exhaust
    2 custom SS resonators
    2 x SS exhaust pipes (that are maybe just a little too big for the back of the car!)

    I was worried that it might make me sound like a hooning idiot but am pretty happy with it. Has a solid but mellow note when cruising and deathly proud rumble when up on the revs!

    The videos below are pretty amatureish haven't chance to do anything properly yet and these are taken on my mobile phone but still give fair feel of sound....

    I'll put some before and after pics up soon. In the mean time, check the videos below...

    Hope this doesn't offend anyone

    Its a P38. They were sleepers.
    I hope you are not a shift worker You may not make friends. Sounds mean though. Now you need a blower on it

    I Like!

    Aren't you meant to stay "between" the white dashed lines?

    I assume thats a 4.6, what's it like on the highway?

    Sounds pretty good!

    I was worried that it would drone or just be annoyingly loud - it's still a sleeper though!?! Just purrs along quietly until it hits high revs

    It's still sleepy when it needs to be

    I just moved to a very quiet part of the Shire in Sydney and no-one in the neighbourhood have heard it rev yet, pretty keen to keep it on the low down and not look like a 4WD rev head
