    p38 lower tailgate jammed shut

    I cant get the lower tailgate open, does anyone know the route of the wiring loom so i can short out the solonoid, or is an axe my only option?

    I'm pretty sure it's shown in Microcat. It runs from the bottom of the tailgate but I'm not sure if it's to the left or right. Ahh, here we are (sorry about the size):

    I was able to get a thin 10mm spanner in the side gaps and undo the latches.
