Yes the fittings are the same, but you need to move your existing tranny cooler down slightly.

By the way, that one on ebay is way underpriced...............

    Yes, thanks for that.

I heard that one is a bit dodgy, so I dont think anyone else should bid on it!

I dont have any cooler, I want to put one on my 87 Rangie.

Certainly can, Like Andrew said, it'll be a great cooler. Auto trans coolers run higher pressures and can get hotter than engine oil so it's no problem at all!

Ok, i thought you were putting it on a p38. There was a change in the fittings on oil cooler pipes sometime in the early 90s from taperd ones to parrallel ones with an o ring.

My mate had one on his.

When we took out radiator and engine, found that transcooler was not in good shape.

He still has it I think. I send him a SMS to see what happened to it.

The unit needed to be flushed etc. He just bought a new one and never used old unit.
If he finds it and if it didn't get burned in the fires last year I will PM you and I am sure you can have it.

He was quoted $130 for re-con.
It did have some strange looking fittings on it though.
I was looking through some funny beer glasses though.
