P38 soft bull bar attaching spotlights

Ok, I just bought the light bracket for my brush bar STC8883AA

But when I place it where it should go the rubber is out to far to let
it mount in, It looks like I would have to cut some of the rubber away
so it could mount in.

Has anyone done this? IF you have a picture of how this bracket is supposed to mount it would be great.

I'm sure I needed to cut a slot in the rubber in either end to fit the bracket. I'll have a look tonight to confirm though.

Yep, cut a slot in the rubber section in line with the nut. Slide the bracket all the way in one side then back the other way for the other side.
