If you need one let me know, i will chop 1 out of of the wrecks as they come along. that way, you will get a bit of wiring too. I have had obd plugs that dont want to connect aswell, its one of my biggest hates.

    Paul,
I got the top right hand one in this site
    J1962 OBD2 Connector - OBD-II Connectors: Car Plug

You can have the second one I have if you want it. (I got two in case I stuffed one up)

E_mail me at moodyblue933@hotmail.com with your address if you want it.

I can post it at work.

    Cheers

    Jeff

Yeah, real PiTA trying to work out if it is the cable, plug or PC that is the problem.

If you have any spare OBDII plugs lying around, I'd appreciate if you can put it/them aside for me, especially if they still have the wiring attached.

Interesting site Jeff - I see they have a splitter cable too.
Hang on to your spare mate - you might need it yet, thanks anyway.
My want to do this little project is not too urgent - I have enough on my plate at the moment. It is yet another "roundtuit" job
    Cheers, Paul.
